6:30am - 9:30am

Who is welcome?       Any volunteer who wants to help out at the ranch and with the horses.  However, if your are 9 years old or younger, we do require that you have a parent or guardian with you at all times.  Kids this is a great way to get any volunteer hours you may need for school and other projects.  Not only will you have fun while getting your goals, you get to make all kinds of friends too!

What will you do?     There is ALWAYS so much to do at the Luv Shack.  Each morning we start off with caring for the horses.  And then we move on to various projects depending on what needs to be done including:

• grooming
• building projects
• art projects
• ground keeping projects
• and much much more! 

What will you learn?     This is an excellent opportunity to learn about horses from experienced horse handlers:

• how to care for horses
• how to feed horses
• how horses communicate with both other horses and people
• how to administer various forms of medications and medical attention
• herd dynamics
• the responsibility and the reward of caring for horses

Luv Shack Kids Zone - Cave Creek WIld West Days

November 10 & 11

10am - 5pm

Frontier Town

6245 E Cave Creek Road

This will be a cool hang-out for kids and the family.  This area features a bouncer, cotton candy, sno cones, kettle corn, horse rides, horse painting, petting zoo, face painting, horse shoe toss and many additional fun, family activities.

 HALF OF THE PROCEEDS MADE AT THIS EVENT WILL BE DONATED TO THE LUV SHACK RANCH RESCUE TO HELP THE RESCUED HORSES AND FUND OUR KIDS PROGRAMS!!

We need volunteers to help run all of the activites.  We are looking for fun, friendly, energetic people that would enjoy spending time playing with the kids that come to the Luv Shack Kids Zone.  Creativity and charisma are a plus.  Come dressed up cowboy style, brush up on your saunter and your best cowboy accent and help us show these kids how much fun the Luv Shack is!

                             Volunteers needed:  50

                             MInimum Age Requirement:  15

                             Time:  9:00am - 6:00pm

                             Hourly commitment:  At least 4 hours per day   (You are able to work a shift or

                                                               participate for an entire day)
